Ghingis Nogaibaev was born in 1965 in Alma-Ata, the capital of Kazachstan, and lives today in Moscow. He completed his studies of art in Alma Ata from 1980 till 1984. From 1984 till 1986 he did his military service in the army of the USSR. Then followed his studies at the famous Surikov Institute in Moscow.

The young artist already stands out due to his unmistakeable style, which is deeply rooted in the traditions of his nationality. He prefers to apply himself to the areas of conflict of human relations. The powerful brushstroke with which he applies the colour on the canvas, shows his artistic energy. It seems that this power is only restricted by his knowledge of the traditions of painting.

In spite or maybe right because of the simplicity of his style does the observer of his paintings realize that: "everything has been said". Subject and the composition of colours always form an integrated whole. In consideration of his powerful and energetic brushstroke, it is surprising that Nagaibaev's devotion to the subject and the human being can nevertheless be noticed in his works. Nagaibaev's paintings have been shown, in several exhibitions at home and abroad. Many of them are privately owned in the USA, France and Germany. In May and June he took part in an exhibition in Prague.
